As the kid was dying of period pain this morning, we left her in bed. With less then 3 weeks to go to the exams there’s no point in forcing her in. I got a phone call about 5 minutes ago and between the pants and the screams and squeals of delight, she informed me that they are finished.

The sixth years are allowed finish early on account of the exams. So that’s it. School over. 3 years of tears, frustration, tantrums, fights and suspensions over with, I’m sure it wasn’t too easy for her either But that’s it?!

She’s finished. I can’t believe it. I think I’m in shock. No more lunches, bus fares, calling her for school, arguing about hair colour, her tie, her attitude.Arguing about repression of her rights.

Yes I am so going to miss school.
