The Eurovision is fast approaching and so I took it upon myself to do some research into the various acts to see what the competition is like. I have to say, its a good mix of quirky, classic and truly awful. My favs so far, apart from Ireland obviously would be Germany’s No Angels and the Czech Republic’s If you wanna have some fun don’t run..Oh and Latvia’s Pirate song! Class..

Estonia’s answer to Los del Río. Where the last video was strange, this is just shocking. Bikini clad blondes waving the german flag around and doing their version of Riverdance? One of the guys pretending to hump most things on the stage. All this still can’t take away from the fact that its a shocking shocking ’song’ Good luck Estonia

I had to double check that this was a guy’s voice. Amazing voice and really good song, then you see the rest of the entries, I can see this one going
to the final. Composed and written by Dana International. Winner of Israel’s version of American Idol A Star is born, he’s a goat herder from Eliyakim.

Good song if somewhat dogdy lyrics, my fav line

Not sure what’s wrong with his knees, perhaps he sings better no his knees. He looks like a younger version of Keanu Reeves.

The fella thinks he’s a junior Bob Dylan, a tad too edgy for the eurovision methinks.

SLOVENIA: Vrag naj vzame

Being unfamilar with the slovakian language, I can only assume she’s singing about the free puppet movement. One of those
tunes that gets into your head…I need to get the lyrics from somewhere…
