Sleep is underrated

This post is brought to you courtesy of 10 hours sleep. Yesterday I was a zombie, just about managing to sit in work and do some work. Today I feel refreshed and ready to do about 15 jobs. Not that I will be volunteering to do 15 jobs but you get the idea. We went out to celebrate our 9 year first date anniversay on Wedensday night and had such a good time, hence the zombie Shelly yesterday. It was a lovely night apart from the restaurent
giving away our table that I had specifcally requested. I wouldn’t mind only we always go to this restaurent, some of the staff even know us so for this to happen it was very disappointing. I was so annoyed I wrote my first ever letter of complaint. Regardless, we have a lovely meal and a great night. However going on a school night is pure madness. We were home and in bed by 12.30 but still , getting up the following morning for 7ish is difficult. I don’t know how we did it with the kid all those mornings. Taking turns for the morning shift etc..

Speaking of herself, I had to meet them yesterday to get the money off her that she owes us for her tab. I would have thought she’d be in a good mood as they were shopping for clothes but alas not, something to do with feminie problems, lets just say she over shared so I won’t with you guys. I left her and her man as they went in search of a Burger King didn’t have rude staff and I headed to Desi Curry to pick up dinner. If you have never eaten there, you are missing out. Well, if you like Indian food that is. Its the best indian in Dublin, without a doubt and having tasted bombay aloo in nearly all of the indian restaurents they have the best bombay aloo. I had to pick up a chicken dish for Mammy2 as I managed to persuade her lambs are too cute to eat. Well, they are. I am not one of those vegetarians that point out to anyone eating meat how it used to be alive and how cruel they are. I have few objections to those who eat meat and meat related products.
No duck, no lamb and definetly no foie gras. For those of you unfamilar with foie gras and how it is made, read
this article and see if you still feel the same.

The weekend looms ahead and not much on thank god. A MOD meet tomorrow and as it turns out a Lesinter game is on afterwards so that’s our Sat evening sorted. Sunday is flat pack furntiure assembly day. A mate has bought an apartment and has asked for willing and able volunteers, so god bless him but his apartment is going to be invaded by lesbians with toolbelts on Sunday looking for some flat pack furniture. It should be a fun evening. The sister in law and her mate are dropping over to ours for Sunday dinner before we head and start hammering. The fun that awaits us.
