Jealousy
Its such an annoying thing, I used to be a lot worse then I am now, thankfully, its all but disappeared. But sometimes it rears its ugly head and it can be infuriating. Because I know Mammy2 is happy with me and I know there’s no-one else she’d rather be with, I am confident in the relationship, so why the feck do I get jealous? Last night I had a few moments, I didn’t resort to violence or anything like that. That was the Shelly of old. We talked about it, thankfully Mammy2 has a lot of patience. It was the only really low point a fab weekend.
We both has sisters night on Friday night, Mammy2 headed over to her sisters, and I ended up spending money, again, on the kid. Whenever she’s around the laser card starts doing push ups in preparation for being used a lot. We had lunch and then she spotted an alternative clothing shop which she just HAD to have a look in. Of course there was a corset she had to try on. You know the rest. Its was like the kid of old when we headed to my dojo to pick up a t-shirt. Usually when I go training as there is one class directly after another, I don’t get the chance to buy clothing and I need some t-shirts for training in. The guy that’s there all the time when I go and never says 2 words to me is suddenly very helpful and falling over himself to get me the right t-shirt. It was then I spotted the kid flicking through some leaflets and I put 2 and 2 together. Of course it didn’t help that once she got a glimpse of him, she was practically swooning. He’s a fairly fit young chap. She was chuffed to hear that he was checking her out. Cue lots of hair flicking. When I finally managed to prise her away from the pc, we watched the Deaths of Ian Stone and One Missed Call. She was very funny, jumping feet at bits that weren’t even scary? I have decided also that I should invent the one armed hoodie. It was
too warm to wear a hoodie but then I realised when I had lost feeling in my left arm with her squeezing it to death that a one armed hoody would be so handy.
I watched my first ever live game of rugby on Saturday when Leinster beat the Dragons to win the Magners League. Its much better live, and the crowd are a lot louder then on the telly. Its very different to the gaa, the whole experience. For example, Mammy2 was queueing up to get us some food she heard one little girl say to her father “But Daddy I want a crepe” Only at a rugby game. With the GAA its hot dogs and tea and ham sandwiches. God help the vegetarians. Mammy2 was delighted with the result. The rest of the weekend was grocery shopping, walking and training and last night we finally met the sister-in-law’s new gf. She seems very nice if very quiet. Its great to see the sister-in-law besotted
The latest from from the sister travelling Argentina, she sends by saying this:
Shelly, I´ve been trying to get a pic of the female cops here for you but it hasn`t materialized as yet, but will see if I can`t get one before we leave. They look terribly strict but attractive, so I might have to take a sneaky one, they look impressive too, with the guns on their hips and the big black army style boots. Actually will a description do for ya
