See that picture on the left, that’s me

You should realise that when things are going smoothly, far too smoothly that something is bound to feck it up. Relying on other people is always like a game of Risk. Or some other game that involves less hair and nerves. Pride is just around the corner and I have been going through the list of things to ensure a fun day for all

- Drummers contacted and made aware of time, route and payment
- Merchandise ordered for drummers including hats and t-shirts.
- Flags printed, on flag poles
- Pride brekkie stuff purchased
- Stewards

You would think wouldn’t you that the last one would be the most straightforward because at a glance at the team of people who take care of my website, there’s 10, we’d find 2 stewards? We did, they volunteered but now there seems to be an issue with double bookings and not being able to attend training etc..I understand that people have other things on and I appreciate that not everyone can be as 150% committed as I am to my website. But if we plan this 3 months ago and you volunteer then, you should be well aware of the committments involved. If we don’t have our stewards we can’t
march. Simple as. Which makes it all the more infuriating. I admit to being a control freak but this year I decided to take a step back and not be checking in every day or so to see how things are progressing. I only hope that on the day it all goes well. And oh look its raining. Fab-u-lous.
