Sin noticias de Dios
The words lesbian interest are starting to be very broad in the spectrum of movies. Take par example
Don’t Tempt me, or to give it its proper title Sin noticias de Dios and starring Penélope Cruz? It was marked as lesbian interest. Now granted anything that stars the lovely Miss Cruz would have lesbians interest much like most Angelina Jolie movies. If she floats your boat that is. But to me lesbian interest implies more then just a lovely lady strutting her stuff for most of the movie. It implies some sort of lesbian plot, sub-plot even. Throw Fanny Ardant into the movie and from a pure eye candy feast this movie gets top stars. I should also mention I am behind the times with this movie as it was released in 2001. Which explains Miss Cruz’s youthful looks. I feel cheated however because sure enough
Penélope was giving women the eye, oozing sensuality whilst looking her fellow angel Lola up and down and looking at girlie mags. We’re not talking Vogue here. All this and not one smooch between her and a woman though? Pfft. The movie was an enjoyable romp though and we got to finally see Penélope Cruz’s full acting cv in action, from comedy to serious, the role was perfect for her. Did I mention Fanny Ardant? Swoon. Check it out.
A lot of the weekend was spent on the couch, recovering from the True Life movie night, as well as the above movie we had the last episode of Dollhouse. We said Farewell to Echo which was no loss, but November I shall miss. She is just so lovely. I don’t see if getting a second season, a shame because the idea is a great one and has such potential. The series also showcased Eliza for the shockingly bad actress she is. Its best to watch her scenes on mute. So bad. In between all this couch potatoness was training, Star Trek and a fab True Life Movie night! Numbers were down due to various other things going on but didn’t stop all involved getting really into it. It was such fun. Even the movie Reform School Girl we had picked went down well. Bed at 3 on Sunday morning, here’s the next night
Oh and its eurovision week! YAY
